Dust crusher sucks.

How often in this game do you have an enemy in an exact diagonal angle to another enemy.

That never happens.

And even if it does I wouldn't think of using dust crusher.

Cause it sucks.

@The_mad_one: It's actually not that bad of a weapon. It's easy to hit with, since it simply shoots forward, and does pretty decent damage as well. Especially against some bosses, such as [NAME REDACTED] and [NAME REDACTED], and of course, we cannot forget [NAME REDACTED].

Reply The_mad_one, February 21st, 2015, 12:48 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: Wow, a weapon that can shoot forwards. I wish I'd had something like that before~.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, February 21st, 2015, 5:45 pm

@The_mad_one: that is a point. It has more range than the Ring Boomerang though... Although the Ring Boomerang is a nerfed Shadow Blade. Which was a merged Metal Blade.

....that point aside though, it is still a decent enough weapon. Got some good power behind it, and is the weakness of quite a few bosses.

I dunno though, I tend to defend some of the weapons other people bash. For example, Top Spin is one of my favourite weapons in the MM series.

Okay, I won't think less of you for it.

Now, if you'd defended Spark Shot, then I'd start to question your sanity.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, February 21st, 2015, 6:17 pm

@Djoing: nah, Spark Shock is pretty much the worst MM weapon ever. I guess it works kind of like the Ice Slasher, I don't think either of them do damage to regular enemies, just freezes them. But in MM1, you had Big Eye. In MM3, you had Kangaroo Egg robots, which aren't much if a threat. The only use Spark Shock has is being boss weaknesses. Unfortunately, every boss it's good against? There are other weapons that do the job better.

There are weapons that it's harder to hit with than the Spark Shock, but at least they do damage. And the Ice Slasher has its uses against Big Eyes, even if it doesn't do damage. I dunno if it does or not, it's been a while since I played Mega Man. But it also freezes the fire traps. It's also Fire Man's weakness, whereas Spark Shock is [redacted in case of spoilers because I can't remember if you found out which robot master is weak to it] man's weakness. And he's easy enough without. A bit tedious, if he keeps using a specific Attack, but easy enough and has another weakness.

tl;dr: Spark Shock is almost literally useless.

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: Actually the worst MM weapon is yet to come, Isn't good even as a weakness...

Reply Spicyice101, February 22nd, 2015, 8:01 am

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: don't forget the fact that it can go through walls

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, February 22nd, 2015, 9:35 am

@Spicyice101: Actually, most weapons can do that. Even the regular buster shots can go through walls.

Reply Extremmefan, February 21st, 2015, 12:11 pm

@Djoing: He's shooting a wire through his nose? Or through his mouth? Either way, that's weird.

Reply Djoing, February 21st, 2015, 12:26 pm

The word 'Chin' is important there.

AAAAAAnd then Mad forgets to change weapon and refill Wire just to use the ammo he refilled to get to last place AGAIN

Reply DeeBert (Guest), February 21st, 2015, 1:50 pm

Mad, WIRE you shooting a wire through your mouth (referring to DJ's author comment)?

Reply Luigi_96, February 21st, 2015, 2:23 pm

Jay Leno started the Chin Force, right?

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, February 21st, 2015, 5:47 pm

@Luigi_96: I hear Matt Smith is a member.

Reply MegaTuga, February 21st, 2015, 2:30 pm

@The_mad_one: TO be fair, Dust Crusher would be a "on-the-go" charge shot, I think. It should do more damage than the regular buster at least.

Chin Force is the new Toe Power!

Reply VibeCatcher, February 21st, 2015, 2:52 pm

Did you guy's have to fight the Crimson Chin for power or did he just give it to you? :P

Reply Arcict Gray, February 25th, 2015, 11:28 am

The problem with "stunning" weapons was always the same mistake... the stunned enemies still do touch-damage.

I'm the impatient type, so instead of trying to fight the big-eyes at the beginning of Dr.Wily's first stage in MM1, I'd use Iceman's power to freeze them when they made a high jump (they make two kinds, low and high), then just run right past them.

Some weapons are just SOOOOOO CLOSE to being useful, that's what makes it painful.
