I cheaped out of differentiating the snow's animation, but it's not that great of a snow effect anyway. so I feel justified.

In the game the snow looks more like small patches of slow static.

Apparently these "spider crunches" are called "Ladder Press".

Because nothing says "press" like spikes impaling your body.

Man! I've been playing this game for HOW LONG and NEVER came up with a name like that?!

In a MM4 hack I made, I de-synchronized them, that is, I put one slightly higher than the other, they were still... er, "crunching" in sync, but they covered a larger area of the ladder that way.

Anybody else getting a kind of "crashman" sense of de-ja-vu?
