Dive Missile seem like an okay weapon.

Though if Magnet Missile is any indication, we shouldn't expect it to always work flawlessly.

It's a torpedo.

So.

It can fly through the air.

Freely.

Okay.

I think I know the problem you were having, but for the sake of no spoilers, I'll keep my mouth shut. Although I dunno if it'd count as a spoiler since I don't actually know for certain if I'm right. But still.

Dive Missile...more like Clumsy Missile. Though, I think I know what's the problem but I won't tell you.

three stages of homing:
no homing
homing
very homing

Reply Alienoid, January 15th, 2015, 1:36 pm

@Luigi_96: As well as three stages of homing missiles. You can,

Home with a group.
Home with a few friends.
Home Alone.

There were far too many instances of that last one, let me tell you.

@The_mad_one: It must be a photon torpedo.

Reply Brassman (Guest), January 15th, 2015, 1:53 pm

Cygnus:Photon Missile doesn't home in on ememys

Reply Cygnus, January 15th, 2015, 11:36 pm

@Brassman: They work out of water. And they could probably home in on targets of they had thrust vectoring or attitude control jets.

Dive missile doesn't play by your silly rules. Dive missile does what it wants.

Some rooms, like this one, take going through... well, a countless number of times... before you start to really get the hang of them. It also takes experimenting, exasperating, expiating, exhausting, and finally exterminating them several times.

By now I often have little problem beating them very quickly, but even with a lift on the "no spoilers" ban it'd be hard to tell you in words.
