That's a very generous Met.

But that's OK.

I did quite well.

Then that stomp happened.

And everything was bad.

Stompage can be rough. Sometimes it leads to a condition known as Stomprage.

Do not let the rage win.

I kind of like how TMO's avatar is epic and majestic, and then right next to it is Djoing's avatar of... mega-toeing.

This comment'll be redundant as soon as you change your avis but I don't care

Aaaaaaand we're back to yelling again. Super.

@Kurona: I don't think redundant is the correct word to use.

Reply The_mad_one, January 31st, 2014, 3:18 pm

@MarioKong: It's really not so much yelling as talking very gruffly. Hence the period behind every sentence, rather than an exclamation mark.

Reply Luigi_96, January 31st, 2014, 3:19 pm

Poor Eddie. '^'

@The_mad_one: And now I imagine you guys with the voice of the cookie monster.

Reply The_mad_one, January 31st, 2014, 3:25 pm

@MarioKong: That'll do. XD

This comic is getting less PG and more M.

Reply The_mad_one, January 31st, 2014, 5:18 pm

@TheAdvisor: I'm not that familiar with the rating system but my swift google search suggests M is what PG used to be called. :3 From_M_to_GP_to_PG
Sadly, Smack Jeeves is splitting the url. But you'll probably be able to find it.

Judging from that same article, my repeated use of the word fuck would generally make this R-rated, meaning "People under 17 years may only be admitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian". Though I personally find this a bit over-reactive, I guess we could consider backtracking and replacing the usage of "fuck" and "shit" with "darn" or "drat", if people would really want us to. I don't consider the mellow profanity "drat" and "darn" to be any different, they're all contextually meaningless exclaims of frustration, but for that same reason I wouldn't care about replacing it.

Only minor gripe I have is that we keep everything we say in the comic literally the same as what we say during gameplay, with the exception of about 3 times when we performed minor swaps of the order of things we said to improve the flow of the dialogue.

But yeah, if people really mind the vocabulary, we might simply just replace the words.

Before anyone suggests: No. No censoring such as f*ck or sh*t or black bars saying "censored". I find that completely ridiculous, as it it still clear what you are probably saying. Unless it involves bleeping over voice recordings where the words are used unscripted, it makes no sense to even have the words there in the first place. And the comedic effect of censors in general is lost on me.

Mad is looking quite...upset. :D

@The_mad_one: In all honesty, I've always been bothered when you cuss the f- word or the s- word.

And I think censoring at least part of the profanity would lessen the issue.

I honestly don't give a damn whether or not you censor yourselves. I hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out. However, I also don't even have a SJ account, so I guess my opinion is worthless anyway. Do what you want.
