mega something 2 was better

had more stuff and things

Reply Chaos Master, December 5th, 2012, 1:10 pm

Holly crap. The farthest I ever got in one night/ebening was all of the robot masters and the first part of Wily stage one. Then I get stuck and call it a night.

I see you, Bomb Man... ¬_¬

@NMA: It's called epicosity.

OH-NO! My eyes are upside down again!

@.:AuraX:.: Mega Man 2 had 8 regular bosses and, what, 5 fortress stages?

Mega Man 3 has 16 regular bosses and 5 fortress stages.

Reply .:AuraX:., December 5th, 2012, 3:17 pm

I was just making a joke on the 'mega something' thing.

Though I consider Mega Man 3 one of my least favourite Mega Man games, mostly due to the Doc Robot stages. And the fortress stages are a tad easy.

I thought MM3 was the best of the original 10.

Reply .:AuraX:., December 5th, 2012, 3:56 pm

6 was best classic mega man

INB4 argument

Reply The_mad_one, December 5th, 2012, 4:06 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: aaaand spoiler is go.

Reply Smugleafdoofus3, December 5th, 2012, 4:16 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: Spoiler! *squinty eyes*
And now for something unrelated to that, I just found out that the first Mega Something was the game of the year!

Reply GalaxyCharizard, December 5th, 2012, 4:56 pm

My favorite Megaman game is Megaman 9

Reply ShinyHoundoom229, December 5th, 2012, 5:28 pm

Personally, I prefer Megaman 4. It just has a lot of great things.

Like the *SPOILERS*, for example. Or the *SPOILERS* in the *SPOILERS* level. That was cool. Oh! And how could you forget the *SPOILERS* that *SPOILERS* after you *SPOILERS* the *SPOILERS* with the *SPOILERS*. Now that was awesome.

Six is good too. My ranking is from 1-10:

So 6 is still in my top three.

Reply .:AuraX:., December 6th, 2012, 2:20 am

I was never able to play 10, 8 and 7.

6 > 4 > 9 > 1 > 2 > 3 > 5

Reply Floob Logged Out (Guest), December 6th, 2012, 7:29 am

@Pharaoh Man:

I liked 7, but it just wasn't as good as most of the others. However, I probably would put it above MM4 if I was legitimately ranking the list.

You should play 7 and 10. They're both pretty awesome, despite the fact that they've both got people who hate them a lot.

Reply ServantofCygnus, December 6th, 2012, 8:22 am

Feh, I hate you all, MM2 was the best. I've practically mastered normal mode, but I can't even beat Metalman on hard D:

I want to, but I have no way to play them right now.

@ANNOUNCEMENT SCREEN: Whatever happened to the TMO Comfort Chair, anyway?

What do you have MM9 on? You can get MM10 on PS2, Xbox 360, or Wii. And you can find seven...and eight...on the anniversary collection for PS2. I got my copy for fifteen bucks.

I have a wii, but not enough money to buy either the collection or 10.

Especially when I need to get presents.

Reply --Floob--, December 7th, 2012, 10:09 pm

Ah. In any case, if you can, get 10 first. Jt's more replayable.

Reply imadoofus, December 10th, 2012, 7:35 am

I liked 2 because it wasn't as HAX as the others, but then I got stuck on Quickman's stage and had to use hax to get past the death lasers.

Reply Yoskichu (Guest), April 20th, 2016, 12:39 pm

I like mega man 2 because it's the only mega man game that has a level that I've beaten(flash man).

Reply A duck (Guest), September 15th, 2016, 7:16 am

@Pharaoh Man: oh hey someone else agrees with me

Reply Master_72, September 20th, 2016, 5:33 pm

@Pharaoh Man: Unpopular opinion here but 3 is definitely my favourite. So many features for a megaman game and the abilities were probably my favourite in this game. It's just really hard to name something wrong with 3 while I can easily name drawbacks to the other 10 Classic games.

Reply Riskfan, September 21st, 2016, 6:29 pm

@Master_72: Oh hey, someone who agrees with me. Although 3 did have one of the least useful weapons if you ask me...

Reply Master_72, September 21st, 2016, 8:33 pm

@Riskfan: Every game had a useless weapon you never used outside of the boss fight it was made for. 1 had the hyper bombs, 2 had the Quick Boomerangs, 4 had the Ring Boomerang, 5 had the Power Stone and 6 had the flame blast.

At least Top spin was somewhat fun to use against normal enemies. It was really innovative in that it was a melee attack. Now if only the ammo usage was consistent.
