The Life Dispenser dying is a thing of the past.
The Life Dispenser will give you an unlimited amount of extra lives, so much that you would max out on them!
(Also it dispenses evil robots and deadly red balls, and it may crush your body, but pay no attention to that)

All we needed was some health.

Before getting the health, we got 8 lives in rapid succession.

Either this was very unlikely, or the spawn rates are thoroughly messed up. Or both.

I wonder how many people will think that we will have to beat Airoc once more at this point~.

Also, the pre-uplaod glitch is apparently back!

Somehow, someway. You will die 10 times.

Reply MarioKong, October 5th, 2012, 12:31 pm

Erectin a Dispenser.

But surely, the glitch could not have come with the life dispenser?

We all know Wily isn't evil, after all.

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler, but this isn't a common occurance. However, in Mega Man 4-6, extra lives are alot more common. One LPer, RoahmMythril, during a failed practise run, got 4 extra lives in one level before falling down a pit.

Sorry if this counts as a spoiler, I wasn't sure if it would, since it's not like I've revealed anything about the gameplay or bosses.

Bomb Man 1up = Win.

And yeah, lives are more common in later MM classic games for some reason.

Something tells me that Harold must have something terrible planned for you two, and he wants to indulge on your agony for as long as possible.

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie:Luckily they are not doing a perfect run series for these games,Because those 1-ups are bad for these types of perfect runs. For those wondering why, they put a curse on the player that is trying to do a perfect run for that stage. And if you don't know what a perfect run is then it is a walkthrough where you don't get hit.

Reply GalaxyCharizard, October 5th, 2012, 5:32 pm

Is that a recorder?

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, October 5th, 2012, 8:06 pm

@BLee7442: I did know that. The curse doesn't really exist, of course, since curses don't actually exist, and sometimes Roahm got 1-ups and made it through the stage anyway.

@NMA: Sorry, but that's not how it works in Mega Man. If you read their comments, they didn't get a life with every single kill, just enough to max their lives before they got full health. In Mega Man, lives from enemies are completely random chance.

perfect run 1-up curse. @Shadow_Da_Hedgie: It does exist to people who do perfect runs for the franchise like:Roahmythril for the classic series which is this one,and kevll who does the megaman x perfect runs.If you get alot of 1-ups you are very likely to get hit by an enemy to ruin his/her perfect runs. But the hardest stage for a perfect run in the entire franchise is a boss that djoing and mad already faced:quickman. For the people wondering why here is the difficulty analysis that roahm gave for this boss:10/10 and that's not all; the highest was over 9,000 of a difficulty. So don't think you can get past a stage like quickman's when you get 1-ups.However, His friends pink and shagg helped him for the perfect runs in megaman and bass, and megaman 10.But i wonder if kevvl is going to do the perfect runs with zero in megaman x 4-6.But back to topic the curse i mentioned is if you get a 1-up you can probably get hit by an enemy

@Kenny the fox:That avatar picture, what anime is that from? Because i never seen that picture before.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, October 5th, 2012, 11:21 pm

@BLee7442: no, the curse doesn't exist. They are statistically just as likely to get hit without picking up extra lives as they are if they pick up extra lives, and in fact, more of the failed runs include extra lives not being picked up rather than being picked up. They just say 1up curse if they get hit after getting a 1up.

And also, the over 9000 thing was a joke, Quick Man's stage counts as a 10 out of 10. Roahm mentioned on his Tumblr revenges that he regrets making that joke.

You like roahmmythrill too.

I want a brofist.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, October 6th, 2012, 5:20 am

@.:AuraX:.: I say, sir, Roahm is far too classy for us to mutually bump our fists together. Let us shake each other warmly by the hand and enjoy a spot of tea before bidding each other a sincere "Fare thee well".

I am afraid I shall have to leave the premises without a farewell.

I do so despise goodbyes.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, October 6th, 2012, 6:26 am

@.:AuraX:.: I see. That is most irregular; it is good manners to wish someone well as you part ways, but if such cannot be avoided, I suppose it will have to do.

Reply .:AuraX:., October 6th, 2012, 6:28 am

Quite so.

Reply BLee7442 (Guest), October 6th, 2012, 11:46 am

quickman perfect run stage. @Shadow_The_Hedgie,and.:AuraX:.: Yea but this stage makes you attempt to do it in like 100 tries maybe more. The death lasers, and the boss can give you much trouble for a perfect run.So you guys agree with me on that.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, October 6th, 2012, 11:59 am

@BLee7442: I wouldn't know from personal experience, I've never even attempted a perfect run.
