Anyone unfamiliar with Kingdom Hearts 2 will have no idea what Djoing's comment means.

Anyone who IS familiar with Kingdom Hearts 2 will have a hard time understanding what Djoing's comment means.

Unless they are, like Djoing, ridiculously familiar with Xaldin's attack pattern.

In Kingdom Hearts 2.

In other words, Djoing's comment is far-fetched and silly.

I corrected the error on panel 1 and I added another panel (the last one), something rather important that I forgot to add.

@Djoing: Oh, you mean that you rode the needles like Xaldin rode his lances? Hellz yeah.

Reply blahmahsah (Guest), August 11th, 2012, 12:07 pm

This is a load of barnacles...

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, August 11th, 2012, 1:20 pm

@The_mad_one: Most people are fairly familiar with Xaldin's attack pattern. He IS considered the hardest boss in the game after all.

Reply The_mad_one, August 11th, 2012, 2:06 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: I thought Demyx was worse. :s

They were both pretty much undodgeable, but Demyx was first.

(mind, I played it on hard)

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, August 11th, 2012, 3:55 pm

@The_mad_one: Demyx is pretty tough too, but Xaldin is harder since if he spams the move where he rides around on his lances, you pretty much can't even touch him.

Reply The_mad_one, August 11th, 2012, 4:36 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: Spamming cure spells made it doable. :3

Unlike at Demyx. :<

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, August 11th, 2012, 4:51 pm

@The_mad_one: Well using Cure uses all your magic, so it's not that spammable. The main problem I had with him was his clones, but there is a reaction command for that. I also like the optional reaction commands on him that sometimes pop up. They're pretty amusing.

Reply The_mad_one, August 11th, 2012, 5:28 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: I didn't remember that bar taking 50 seconds to recharge. O_o

Weird, I do recall casting cure a lot vs Xaldin. Guess the battle took long.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, August 11th, 2012, 5:37 pm

@The_mad_one: Well it does take awhile, especially if he keeps riding around on his spears. It's not even one of the tougher moves to avoid, it's just that you can't even touch him during the attack.

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: Isn't Sephiroth way harder than Xaldin? I beat Xaldin on my first try, but it took like 10 tries for Sephiroth... and that was on Beginner.

Reply Djoing, August 11th, 2012, 7:12 pm

@WCDA ROCKS!:
Sephiroth is an optional boss.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, August 11th, 2012, 7:41 pm

@WCDA ROCKS!: As DJ says, Sephiroth is an optional boss. And if you think he's hard in KH2, do yourself a favour and never fight him in KH1.

Reply The_mad_one, August 11th, 2012, 8:21 pm

@WCDA ROCKS!: I don't think you could call the KH2 Sephiroth hard, tedious is more fitting. As well as luck-based.

If he hits you with that warningless fire pillar attack that leaves you with 1 hp and then hits you before you can cast a curaga, you die. Otherwise you cast curaga and all is fine. Not really in your hands.

All his other attacks are rather easy to block/dodge/interrupt once you know them. Except that cheatish teleport-slash. But that doesn't deal too much damage.

Damn, I wanna play Kingdom Hearts now. Curse you, PS3, for not running PS2 games.

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: You're kinda 6-8 years late with that comment. I already fought him in KH1... and beat him. Sure, it took me a few tries, but I did it. I found him easier in KH1, mostly because I can cast Curaga really fast and his Sin Harvest/Descend Heartless Angel attack doesn't make him float up.

KH1 is also when I was actually introduced to the Silver-Haired Badass. I'm just... Saiyan. WAKA-WAKA!

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, August 12th, 2012, 5:53 pm

@WCDA ROCKS!: He's harder in KH1. No reaction commands or reflect to save your hide, and he can chomp all the way through your HP with one combo, unless you're, like, Level 70+. Whereas in KH2, you can use reflect, reaction commands sometimes, and the whole combat engine is just easier to fight with anyway.

Reply The_mad_one, August 12th, 2012, 6:07 pm

@Shadow_Da_Hedgie: Teehee, combat engine is just easier to fight with.

Translation:
Mash the x button to automatically fly towards the enemies and smash them to bits. :3

I kinda preferred KH1~.

Reply Shadow_Da_Hedgie, August 13th, 2012, 1:20 am

@The_mad_one: Same. I usually ended up dying during the Deep Jungle stage a few times, I ended up going there because Cure is a VERY handy spell, most useful spell in the game, with second place going to Thunder and third going to Aero. But yeah, that Leopard and the Clayton fight are tough. Cereberus is pretty tough too... But of course, the toughest fight in Kingdom Hearts is in Neverland, at the clock tower... The infamous Nightmare Heartless, the only one who can permenantly kill party members during the fight, unless you defeat him.

Most importantly though, KH1 had better keyblades. *hugs the Pumpkinhead keyblade*

Has anyone ever played birth by sleep?
Cause I know optional bosses get pretty ridicules when it comes to power.

This stinks... The only Kingdom Hearts game that I WANT to play AND have the correct game system for is KH3D... At least It was worth the money...

Reply Goku521, May 12th, 2013, 3:12 pm

@omegaspark: The PS3 is pretty much done and a PS4 is ready to hit the scene, so when it comes out, it's sure gonna be on PS4... although, I hope it'll be a Multi-Console game like some Sonic games and be on the Wii U too.

Otherwise, I'll buy one for that game only!
